Even though a part of nutrition coaching for a body transformation goal will involve a food plan (initially), my end goal with ALL of my Team STRONG Girls is to teach you how to eat so you don’t have to reply on a meal plan.
Take my STRONG Girl, Shawna Small, for example. Her journey of eating more food while getting stronger and leaner was a learning experience. When she started with me, she was eating half the amount of food she should have been for how active she was.
Within two weeks together, we managed to double her food intake. So much of her life changed… No more dizziness, no more hunger pangs.
See, nutrition coaching isn’t as black and white as providing a meal plan. At least, in my eyes, it SHOULDN’T be. It’s so much more than throwing a meal plan at you and wishing you the best.
Together, we work on:
- Overcoming food guilt
- Perfectionism
- Comparison
- All or nothing thinking
- Negative self-talk
- Unrealistic expectations and timelines
Together, we gain:
- A healthy relationship with food
- A ‘Correct and Continue’ mindset
- Focus on our own personal goals
- Positive self-talk
- Celebrating our journey
- **CONNECTION with each other**
Transformations are not black and white, and neither are the plans. And, transformations shouldn’t happen in isolation.
I’ve got you, girl.
Stay STRONG,
Jenny
