I’m going to make a bold statement: MaxPro, the revolutionary gym-in-a-backpack, is the one piece of equipment you never knew you needed!
I’ll be honest, I tried MaxPro with some trepidation. I mean, how could this tiny, compact gym-in-a-backpack actually function properly for what I need in my workouts?
Turns out, it’s actually perfect for those who travel for work (hi!), want to bring it along to train on vacation, or just have limited space in their home gym.
MaxPro is an all-in-one training solution complete with durable cables, add-on bench, and adjustable resistance that ranges from five to 300 pounds.
Pros:
- Super compact for traveling, or a small home-gym space
- Durable cables are made of a material called Dyneema, which is 40% stronger than Kevlar
- Comes with mount and add-on bench
- Wide range of resistance available
- 100% silent workout, perfect for when the kiddos are in bed
Cons:
- It’s an investment
- With cables, eccentric motions don’t have the resistance free weights do
How to use it:
- Unfold the MaxPro and put the unit under your feet, or attach it to the door or another sturdy vertical surface using the included mount
- Choose your grips; MaxPro comes with a 3-part barbell, 2 handles, and 2 ankle/wrist straps
- Set the resistance dials, which just requires a simple rotation of the wrist, to the appropriate level (ranging from 5 to 300 lbs)
- Get after it!
Overall, if the MaxPro fits your budget, I highly recommend this product! I can’t hit my max weight (with low reps) with presses, rows, deadlift, or squat with the MaxPro, but for the typical 8-12 reps for a beginner or intermediate lifter, MaxPro is more than enough.
It’s worth the investment—if you decide to give it a go, let me know what you think in the comments section of this post!
Stay STRONG,
Jenny
